Angel Interpreting was established in 2011 by
husband-and-wife team, Gary and Tawnya Kelley
Both are Nationally Certified by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and have over 64 years of combined interpreting experience in almost every setting imaginable.
Mission Statement
We at Angel Interpreting, Inc strive to provide professional interpreting services consistent with our Code of Professional Conduct, and Standard Practices. We are also HIPPA compliant.
At the same time, we believe that interpreters are first of all, human beings rather than interpreting robots.
We believe a balance of professionalism, common courtesy and friendliness is obtainable.
Eye contact and friendly, engaging conversations are core elements of Deaf culture. As such, they are necessary for Deaf clients to feel comfortable with and establish trust in an interpreter.
We like to say that we interpret with a “Deaf heart.”
